Wanelo Shopping by Wanelo Inc is a shopping app that offers a Pinterest-like set up. Once you’ve chosen a few products or brands you like, you can choose to follow people and even some stores. This will give you an endless stream of products that have all been posted by people like you. When you find something you like, you can either save it, or buy it right away, which is pretty dangerous for me. I got a chuckle when I first signed up with Wanelo Shopping. I received an account confirmation email that was titled, “Welcome! Confirm your account for dangerous fun.” Ha! That email definitely gave the app some bonus points from me!
When you do find something you want to purchase, you won’t actually be purchasing it through Wanelo Shopping. I found a dress that I liked, and tapped the “Buy It” button. I was immediately taken out of the app to White House Black Market’s website. I found something else I wanted, and I was taken to eBay. So, you don’t actually purchase items from the app. It just finds items for you. It’s pretty cool, but I didn’t find it too much different than Google-ing something I wanted. From using Wanelo Shopping, I have found some pretty cool fashion tips, as well as unique items from people who probably wouldn’t rank on the first few pages of Google. For that reason, I think Wanelo Shopping is pretty cool. Try it out. If you’re looking for interesting things you won’t find in a typical internet search, you might find them here.
iTunes describes Wanelo Shopping like so:
The best in shopping entertainment. Wanelo (from Want, Need, Love) gives you an endless stream of the most unique products online, all posted by people like you. Buy everything in your wishlist right away, or save your favorite products to your profile for later.
We should mention that Wanelo is dangerous for your free time and wallet. Our users think so, too:
“I wish I had all the money in the world. I would just spend all of it on Wanelo.”
“#Wanelo you can have all of my money! #obsessed”
“I have an addiction….with wanelo. #Help”
“But really, WHEN is the #Wanelo app coming out? I can’t wait any longer”
“I check the app store for a @wanelo app on almost a weekly basis.”
“Does @wanelo have an app yet? I’d never do anything productive again”
