Since the free iOS4 update is now unavailable in iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch, you can switch to the latest version of an iOS4 environment by downloading it from iTunes. With this latest version, certain features are also upgraded. In fact, you can now multitask on your iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch device using iOS4. To learn how to take advantage of this feature, just follow these straightforward steps.
Step 1. When a particular app is running, you can double-tap the Home Screen key to access the series of apps that you are not currently using. You may choose and run one or more of these apps.
Step 2. You can effortlessly switch through the running apps by scrolling the list from left to right and by tapping the particular app that you want to use or to display on your screen.
