Temple Run 2 Racks up 50 Million Downloads in Two Weeks

The developers behind the incredibly popular mobile video game Temple Run 2 have announced that the game has broken records. After being available for only two weeks, the game has racked up 15 million downloads. The game has been downloaded a combined 50 million times on Android, Kindle devices, and iOS devices in 13 days.

That makes the game the fastest to 50 million downloads in history. The game was able to beat the previous record holder, Angry Birds Space, by a significant amount of time. Previously, the game saw 6 million downloads in less than 24 hours.

The game quickly rose to the top spot in the free apps section of the Apple STORE and then went on to have similar success for Android users. The game developer also notes that clothing that is Temple Run branded will be coming soon.
