Stickman SnowboarderStickman Snowboarder by Traction Games is the third game in the Stickman series, following behind Stickman BMX and Stickman Skater.  Like the first two games, Stickman Snowboarder does not disappoint!  This app puts a serious twist to what you ever thought of snowboarding!  You’ll learn to grind, spin, slide, grab and jump your way through absolutely incredible locations!  You could just be boarding down your typical mountain peak, or getting a little crazy sliding down the roof of a snowy log cabin!  Heck, maybe you’ll be jumping from rooftop to rooftop in the big city!  All that sounds like a blast, but Stickman Snowboarder gets even better!  You can even travel to a frozen arctic region and slide across the ice, jumping over whales to get to your next landing!  If you think that sounds amazing, think again!  It’s even better than you’re imagining it to be!  Stickman Snowboarder offers 60 levels across four completely different locations!  There are many trick moves for you to figure out in this game, and they are all based off of real snowboarding motions!  So if you’re good at snowboarding in real life, you already have a hand up on Stickman Snowboarder!

Stickman SnowboarderStickman Snowboarder’s animation is pretty cool, showing the snowboarding star as a very simple black stick figure!  He’s pretty serious about snowboarding; you can see it written all over his face!  I’ve found this game to be easy to play, but pretty challenging to get good at!  I got so frustrated, because I couldn’t pass a level after trying over ten times, that I actually quit without trying again for a couple days!  With some practice, you will eventually learn to dodge rough terrain, trees and cliffs with grace!  The first world you play in Stickman Snowboarder is called Slope Stylin’.  It is followed by Lumber Yard, Arctic Attack and Night Slider.  You must get through one world at a time, before moving on to the next.

If you get addicted to the game, and find yourself wishing there were more than 60 levels, you are in luck!  Stickman Snowboarder offers 60 additional levels in a pro-pack for an in-app purchase of $1.99.  I think that’s a cool feature, but maybe that’s just because I’m building quite the addiction!

iTunes lists Stickman Snowboarder’s features as such:

  • Easy to play, hard to master.
  • 60 Action packed levels across 4 spectacular locations.
  • 1000′s of trick combinations based on real snowboard tricks.
  • Upgradeable Rides including Skis, Sled, Snowskate and the ultimate accessory ‘Blingman’ for double scores and lives.
  • ‘Multi-trick’ feature to bust as many tricks in the air as possible with sketchy landing detection.
