The Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona is always a hotbed of smartphone activity. Vendors typically trot out all their latest high- and low-end wares to show off to attendees–and this year is no different. But while Nokia (NYSE:NOK), Lenovo, Samsung and a wide range of other players unveiled new devices, the conference was notable in its lack of high-end, flagship device announcements.
