Songza by Songza Media, Inc is a music app that offers unlimited music of your choice! The app claims to play, “the right music at the right time.” Songza is somewhat similar to Pandora in the aspect of allowing you to listen to music continuously without being limited. Unlike Pandora, Songza is 100% ad free! Songza offers you different types of playlists labeling them for different moods or activities. I’ve listed some examples below.

I think one of the best features Songza offers is the day and time of the week setup! For example, you can choose any day of the week, as well as the time, with the options being: morning, late morning, afternoon, evening, night and late night. Once you make your choices, Songza comes up with different playlist options that would be relevant to your choices! It’s sort of amazing! Let me tell you just how amazing it is. Let’s say you chose Saturday/Late Night. You’re playlist options would include the following:
- Bedtime
- Getting Lucky
- A Sweaty Dance Party
- Drinking at a Bar
- Coming Down
- Getting High
Getting High??? What??? Okay, I’m going to pretend like I didn’t just see that option. Moving on. If you chose Thursday/Evening, your playlist options would include the following:
- Evening Commute
- Working Out
- Unwinding After a Long Day
- Cooking
- Spending Time with Your Kids
- Eating Dinner
As you can already see, Songza is an app you almost need! It’s free to download and doesn’t have ads; what more could you want? Under the explore-tab, you can search for a specific playlist by: genre, activity, mood, decade, culture or even ARTIST! That’s what I was looking for! That’s leaning towards Pandora’s main feature, and yes, Songza offers that, too! Let’s say you typed Rascal Flatts into the search box. Songza will give you a choice between that artist solely, or some already created playlists that include that artist! Songza has it all! It really does play the right music at the right time! Or it can play the exact music you want at the exact time you want! Download Songza immediately!
