SkyscannerWith Skyscanner all flights, everywhere, you can compare millions of flights on over 1,000 airlines!  Find the cheapest places to fly to and the cheapest dates to fly on!  For years and years I’ve used Priceline for finding my flights, but I’ve heard a lot about Skyscanner and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.  So, I tried it out!

SkyscannerSkyscanner works very similar to the way Priceline does.  You choose the location you want to fly out of, as well as the place you want to go.  You can choose if you want direct flights or if you don’t mind having connections.  Of course you’ll choose you departure and return dates, along with the number of passengers you want tickets for.  The big difference I noticed between my loyal Priceline app and Skyscanner was how you don’t HAVE to choose flight dates.  Skyscanner allows you to leave both the departure and return dates at “any day”.  When you do this, you are shown a calendar of dates starting from today and going through years in advance if you want!  It’s pretty amazing.  The top calendar is for your departure flight, and the bottom one is for your return flight.  You can try out different dates to see the price differences.  When you have both dates chosen, you’re taken to a new screen to watch as Skyscanner scans through different airlines looking for all flights to and from the locations you chose on the dates you chose!  It’s pretty cool and very user friendly!  I do recommend Skyscanner for anyone who likes to fly sporadically.  For someone who has a busy work schedule and limited vacation time, Skyscanner wouldn’t be as useful.  However if you’re a stay at home mom who can fly just about any time and you’re looking for the absolute best deal to save some money, Skyscanner will find it for you!
