In today’s world everyone has a Facebook or twitter, Heck! some of us may still even use mySpace. But either way social networking is a HUGE part of the world we live in today and our daily lives. Another big part of our lives are rewards cards and memberships. We use them so much that we don’t even realize they are just part of the “norm.” so what would happen if social networking/media and rewards combined? Silvrspoon would be it! That is exactly what Silvrspoon does. It takes a few hot spot places to eat in Chicago and adds in a powerful element of social media. An article in Chicago Now said: “In a world where you can enjoy a 5-star meal without stepping foot in the restaurant thanks to smartphone app technology, comes a company that looks to change all of that. And that company is Silvr Corp, and their weapon is Silvrspoon, allowing users to order “What you want, when you want it”. I Could not have said it better myself.
iTunes describes the app like this…
SilvrSpoon is a mobile ordering, rewards, and feedback platform for you to interact with participating restaurants. You can check in, place orders, provide feedback and share your experience about your dining experience. Users can earn points by placing orders and providing feedback. Points can be redeemed for loyalty programs specific to each restaurant. SilvrSpoon also makes suggestions from the restaurant’s menus based on a your TasteCloud preferences and dining history.
All in all as we progress in a world where social media is such an integrated part of our daily living, SilvrSpoon is a much needed app.
