Reign of Dragons
I’m not your typical dragon-slaying girl, but I do know a deal when I see one. And, downloading this app was a deal! I’m a pretty big fan of Appoday. I check it almost every morning at work. Many of the featured apps are ones I’ve never heard of before, and if it weren’t for Appoday, I may have never heard about them. It seems like they’re either brand-new or super old. Well, today’s featured app was Reign of Dragons by Drecom. It’s absolutely not an app a girly girl like me would download if I came across it in the app store. Since it was featured by Appoday as FREE, when it’s usually $9.99 – I definitely wanted to take advantage of that deal. So, I downloaded it. Come to find out, Reign of Dragons is a brand new app just released yesterday! I don’t know about spending ten bucks on ANY gaming app, but I can tell you it’s definitely worth a few bucks! And, coming from a girl like me – that’s saying a lot!
The story behind Reign of Dragons is that the elderly Dragon King was in danger with the Shadow Beasts and to save himself, he tore a hole into space and time. When he did that, he made a world that began to repeat itself every 13 days. Your job in the game is to take the throne as the future Dragon King. You must find other dragons to help you fight the Shadow Beasts. Reign of Dragons is a card-based game, so it does get confusing. When you first start playing – you’ll get to select a card from: Justice, Chaos and Genesis. Each card gives you a different storyline, as well as different types of enemies and battles to fight. With each level you pass or raid boss that you defeat, you will be given an option to evolve your card. You can evolve a card through four different stages, each one stronger than the last.
Reign of Dragons is a pretty cool app, especially if you’re into the dragon-slaying stuff. The graphics are stunning, but the time it takes to load new pages is ridiculous. It seems like every time I tap on anything I get the little round circle telling me that it’s loading. Who wants to deal with loading times every time you switch a page? Other than that, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. Download it while it’s free!
