LG to Supply OLED Display Panels for iWatch

Rumors continue to flow about iWatch. If you are a big fan of Apple products, then you must be waiting to buy this device. Now a new source has provided some information about the production of display panel that will be used in this device. According to Digital Daily, LG will supply display panels for iWatch. The Cupertino company has already signed a deal with LG for the production of 1.52-inch flexible OLED display that will be used in iWatch. The source has also claimed that the Cupertino company will launch this device in summer.

If the report comes true, then you will be able to buy this device in summer. This is really a great news for the people who are waiting for it. According to the source, LG will start the production of OLED display panels in Q3 of this year. An analyst recently claimed that the Cupertino company will unveil 1.3-inch and 1.7-inch iWatch models this year in order to compete with Android smartwatch. 1.7-inch iWatch will be specially designed for men and 1.3-inch iWatch will be specially designed for women. It is expected to include Bluetooth support. A source recently claimed that it will work just like a smartphone. It will let users make phone calls and it will show the caller ID. It will be a great competitor of Sony smartwatch.
