The Weather Channel by The Weather Channel Interactive is an app that gives you the most accurate weather information out there!  I’ve found The Weather Channel to be much more accurate than the weather app that came with my iPhone. The Weather Channel has given me the opportunity to plan my week out knowing, precisely, what to expect weather-wise!  I live in an area that gets a lot of snow, and my car is not four-wheel drive.  So, when it snows a lot, I take the bus rather than driving to work with my vehicle that has such a tough time in the snow.  The only issue with taking the bus is that I have to leave my house about 40 minutes before I would normally leave for work.  I take about an hour to get ready in the morning, so I need to know the night before what time I should set my alarm.  I use The Weather Channel to decide for me!  It has proven to always steer me in the right direction in making the correct arrangements that get me to work safely and on time.

The Weather Channel is very easy to use.  Simply type in your location, and you will instantly be shown your weather forecast.  The app is set at default to give you the current weather, but you can also see the hourly, 36 hour and 10 day forecasts.  The forecasts given are extremely detailed.  I’ve shown an example below for the current weather forecast and how it’s displayed.

Wind: S 13 mph
Humidity: 96%
UV Index: 0 Low
Dew Point: 49 degrees
Visibility: 7 mi
Sunrise: 7:07AM
Sunset: 4:33PM

I especially love the exact time detail on when the sun will set!  Since, I don’t like to drive too far in the dark, this allows me to plan accordingly. The Weather Channel is staffed with over 200 meteorologists who are sure to give you the facts on the weather in your area!  I highly recommend The Weather Channel!
