Icon Pop QuizI found Icon Pop Quiz by Alegruim, because it was featured on Appoday.  It’s always a free app, but if you download it while Appoday is featuring it, you’ll get 30,000 free tokens, which saves you three bucks!  Umm, yes please!  Icon Pop Quiz is a game that quizzes players to name hit movies, TV shows and characters using different types of clues that could be visual or even imaginative!  The quickest and most accurate answers score the highest!

Icon Pop QuizIcon Pop Quiz is pretty easy to play.  When you first begin, you can choose if you want to take a TV and Film Quiz, which asks you titles of certain movies and TV shows, or a Character Quiz, which asks you to name fictional characters.  I chose the TV and Film Quiz, because I don’t think I know characters as well as I know titles.  I started at level one and was shown a 4×4 grid totaling 16 different images.  Each image was a clue to a certain title of a movie or show.  Some of them were easy.  Aladin was an image of a lamp.  Peter Pan was an image of the cut out of Peter’s head with the hat and feather on it.  Cinderella was an image of a simple glass slipper.  Then, some of them were hard.  Yes, even at level one, they were tough!  There was an image of a group of balloons, and I had no idea what that was for.  I used a hint, which cost me 200 tokens!  Ouch!  The hint was a good one, though.  It said, “Ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America.”  It was Pixar’s “Up”!  I definitely recommend Icon Pop Quiz!  It’s the type of a game you would love to play with your family sitting around the kitchen table!  Definitely, a great car ride game!  It becomes a serious challenge, too!
