Hill Climb Racing
Hill Climb Racing by Fingersoft is a great way to practice your driving skills with a bouncy jeep, monster truck or race car! Take your pick! Your driving will be tested to the limit on these extremely bumpy hills! Be sure not to accelerate too much, because the laws of physics definitely come into play with Hill Climb Racing!
The controls are super easy to use! Your brake is on your left and gas is on your right! In between these controls, are two gages that control your RPM and boost. These gages are pictured just like they are in your car! At the top, left-hand corner of your screen is your gas gage. If you have a full tank, the bar will be completely green. As you use up your gas, the green bar will move to your left. Throughout each level, you will see red gas tanks. Be sure to get these; they fill you up! Also, collect as many coins as you can! You’ll need these for upgrades!
Hill Climb Racing lets you upgrade your engine, suspension, tires and 4WD! Each of these can be upgraded a different amount of times. For instance when you first start playing Hill Climb Racing and don’t have any upgrades yet, you are at a level 1. There are 13 upgradeable levels for your engine, 14 for your suspension, 16 for your tires and 10 for your 4WD. These upgrades start at 4,000 coins each and get more expensive from there. The first thing I upgraded was my engine and the second was my tires! Coins are earned pretty quickly throughout each level. Already on the third level, I had 22,000 coins – making the upgrades pretty inexpensive.
Hill Climb Racing offers six stages or “worlds”: countryside, desert, arctic, highway, cave and moon. You start off in countryside, and don’t move on until you beat that world. The animation is pretty simplistic, which is nice for a change. I love how when you use the brake, you can see dirt fly in the air! I most definitely recommend Hill Climb Racing! It has a ton of gameplay, it’s physics-based and it’s FREE!
