Flight Unlimited Las Vegas by Flight Systems LLC gives you the experience of a flight simulator, right from the palm of your hand! And believe me, it’s just as incredible as it sounds! The app has stunning visuals that will blow your mind! I’ll admit. I seem to be impressed with flight simulators of any kind! I just think it’s incredible that a machine or in this case, an iPhone app can make you feel like you’re in a cockpit, looking down on the world! Flight Unlimited Las Vegas is so realistic; you almost believe it’s true!
Flight Unlimited Las Vegas lets you fly over 130 square miles of the city of Las Vegas in five different aircrafts! You’ll even see the famous Vegas strip that shows over 50 well-known hotels! The aircrafts include Cessna, Challenger Lear Jet, Douglas DC3, Crumman Coose and Robin DR400. With each aircraft, you’re shown cool facts like the weight, cost and engine type. The cost difference between the aircrafts was shocking to me. I can’t believe the Challenger Lear Jet costs $19,200,000, compared to the Cessna that only costs $307,000!
There are a few moves you’ll need to practice when it comes to Flight Unlimited Las Vegas’ gameplay. Your flight is controlled by the accelerometer. You can tilt your device in each direction to control the plane. You’ll use the throttle slider to change your speed. Tilt back and forth for elevators and side to side for ailerons. You can have full control over the flap and rudder positions via the control sliders. Brake and landing gear controls are at the top of the display. Even though you’re only virtually flying, you can still crash the plane! You’ll definitely do that a few times while trying to learn to fly it! When you do crash it, you’ll see fire and smoke. It’s so realistic! Flight Unlimited Las Vegas is a pretty incredible app! I’ve never felt more like a pilot!
