Dude Perfect
Dude Perfect by Black Box Interactive is a virtual basketball gaming app that offers a generous amount of levels that will keep you busy for hours! The game can be played with one or two players in seven different locations! First, you’ll start with the basics, eventually moving on to the backyard, a very common place to shoot some hoops! After that, you’ll extend your game to some more uncommon places like a ranch, campgrounds, an amusement park, the city and finally space! Shooting hoops in space? This has to be a virtual game! I’ll take it! When you first start playing Dude Perfect, the only location that’s unlocked is the basics. You have to master all the levels in that location, before moving to the backyard! You will have to prove your skills by beating all the levels, before unlocking the next location! Don’t worry. The basics only have four levels, so you’ll be moving on before you know it!
Dude Perfect’s controls are only explained with arrows; basically, making you have to figure them out completely on your own. I definitely wish there was a tutorial explaining how the game is played. The mechanics of how to pull back on the ball and throw are so tricky! I tried for about five minutes straight before even making one shot. It completely sucked. Plus, I was irritated by the time the game became fun. They definitely need to add a tutorial! When playing a level, you’re only given a certain amount of balls to use. Once you run out, that’s it. That level is over. You do get extra points for every time your ball hits any part of the basketball hoop, even including the pole! It’s cool, but brings another complain to my mind! Let’s say you have three balls to use. You use one and miss the shot. The ball bounces so many times – like literally ten times! You cannot use your next ball until the last ball stops bouncing, making you have to wait so long between shots! It’s annoying, and makes me want to quit playing altogether! My feelings on Dude Perfect aren’t so good. It’s all right, but has more annoyances than pluses in my opinion. What do you think about it? Let us know!
