I’ve always thought I was too old to have a diary. There’s just something about being 27 and writing in a little book about what happen during my day that makes me feel like I’m still 10 years old. When I was 10, I did have a diary. It was a beautiful one at that. She was a Lisa Frank dolphin themed beauty! I remember thinking that those dolphins were my trademark! My best friend Lissa’s favorite were the horses. Gosh, I still think those rainbow colors were so pretty! For the past few years, it’s crossed my mind that I wish I would get a diary to be able to look back on all the important things that were starting to happen in my life: getting engaged, married, having babies, etc. Well, one day I came across Daily Diary (Journal/Diary) by We4Mobile when peaking through Appsfire. It case you’re not familiar with Appsfire, it’s an app that features all kinds of deals on apps you might be interested in. It’s fabulous! Well, I found Daily Diary in the deals on lifestyle apps section. It’s usually $9.99 to download, but it was free for a limited time. Being the deal-loving girl that I am, I had to download it! Since downloading Daily Diary, I have started to write again, and I’m so happy I did. I don’t feel so childish seeing as I’m typing in an app, rather than writing on my rainbow colored stationary.
Daily Diary has a great layout! It’s extremely simple, which is perfect for me. To add an entry, simply tap on the + button on the top, right hand side of the screen. The date of your entry is automatically defaulted to the day and time you are typing it, but you can change it if you like. If you want to make this app secure, you have an option to add a passcode. Amazing, right? You can even change the font type and size. I love little details like that, which allow me to be creative and make it my own!
I tend to use Daily Diary for big things that happen in my life. I love, love, love looking back and seeing details and emotions I had on the day my husband proposed to me or the day my little boy said his first word. It’s unbelievable how much better I can remember when reading entries. Daily Diary is a must have, priceless app. If you can, get it while it’s free, but it is worth every penny of the ten bucks it usually costs.
