Color Zen by Large Animal Games is $0.99 to download in the app store. It’s a relaxing puzzle game that doesn’t keep score or give penalties for failing! There’s a basic set of rules to follow, and that’s it! The puzzles are made up of various shapes in calming color tones. There’s an in-app purchase available for $0.99 that will unlock all the levels.
First of all, Color Zen is very easy to play. You’ll combine matching colors to fill the screen. Fill the screen with the colors of the border to win. Black objects destroy what touches them. White objects match any color. To freeze dotted objects, simply double-tap. That’s it! Easy breezy! The game is played in “chapters”, which are kind of like worlds. Inside these chapters are multiple levels. You can’t move on to the next level until you’ve beat the one you’re currently one, unless you make the in-app purchase to unlock them. If you die on a level, the game simply says, “try again” with a replay button. It’s seriously peaceful, without any aggravation! I’m not sure how colored shapes can relax me, but they really do!
Color Zen stars out super simple, but gets 1,000 times more challenging as you go. To be honest, there have been levels that I had to replay 6 or 7 times! It’s super fun, and works wonders! I really love how you play one level after another, without having to stop every time. It leads on with a continuous, relaxing goal in mind. I would very highly recommend Color Zen for anyone who’s looking for a peaceful and enjoyable game! This one is flawless.
