How To Assign Ringtones To Contacts On The iPhone
If you are like me you want to customize your iPhone as much as you can. I like to keep my contacts nice and organized. I also like to assign different ringtones to each contact in my phone book. I have a few different ringtones set for my favorite callers. I personally try to keep my general ringtone to something basic. I know, it sounds boring but I try to maintain a professional appearance most of the time and nothing says unprofessional like having the latest Eminem track as your ringtone as it goes off in a business meeting or church. Haha. Again, that is just my opinion so you do what you want. I am just giving you the step by step on how to do it.
Here is how:
→ From the iPhone home screen, tap the Phone icon.
→ In the Phone application, tap the contacts icon in the bottom center.
→ From your contacts list, select the person who you want to assign a ringtone to.
→ When that person’s contact information appears, tap the Edit button in the top right corner.
→ When the contact information is editable, you will see an item below their phone number that reads “Assign Ringtone.” Tap that.
→ When you do, the list of iPhone ringtones available to you will be displayed. Select the one you want.
→ When you have selected the ringtone, tap the Info icon in the top left. This will return you to the person’s contact information.
→ Tap the Done icon in the top right and you will have succeeded in assigning a new ringtone to that person.
Well that is how you assign ringtones to contacts so start downloading some ringtones or making your own and assign them to all your friends and family!
