Apple Reuse and Recycling Programme Launches in UK Ahead of Tonight’s iPhone Announcements
Not long ago we announced Apple’s Reuse and Recycling Programme going live in America. Now, on the eve of the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C announcements, the scheme is up and running in the UK.
The site lets you make money by trading in your old Apple gadgets where they can be reused or recycled in an environmentally friendly way. From iPhone, iPad and computers to iPods and mobile phones - you can trade most Apple devices. A great idea for those looking to upgrade soon but who don’t want the wallet pain of buying a new, offline device, straight from Apple.
For example if you’ve got an old black MacBook with 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo that’s in good but not perfect condition, you’ll get £90. On Mac4Cash, by comparison, you’ll get £136. While it might not be as generous, it may be a little easier to do in the store when buying your new device.
