Air Vacation
Chillingo’s Air Vacation lets you captain an airship hotel. Sounds interesting, doesn’t it? If you’ve read any of my reviews before, you already know that if an app has eye catching animation using vivid colors, it already has me pulled half way in! As I’m sure you noticed in the screen shots, Air Vacation doesn’t lack at all in that department.
Air Vacation is a build up game where you build new facilities inside your airship hotel, all while traveling the world. You’ll start off by building the basics like guest rooms and restaurants. Eventually being able to go further by expanding your airship to add more excessive items like rollercoasters and waterparks! Yes, your hotel could turn out pretty incredible! You’ll start off by naming your airship. Then, you’ll choose an assistant between a man named Joey, a woman named Anne or a Panda named Pan Da, lol. Of course, I chose Pan Da, mainly because of his name. After that, the building begins, which can be somewhat slow moving as it takes time to make enough money to continue to build.
Air Vacation’s gameplay itself isn’t terribly unique, which was a downside to me seeing as the amount of build up games out there is quite excessive. Like all build up games, you grow your world AKA farm, city or in this case your airship hotel. As you build, you’ll level up unlocking more and more items. Complete quests to earn cash, coins and energy: all very similar to Zynga’s famous games, so you’ll catch on quick! An airship hotel is a super fun idea, so if you’re looking for a new build up game, you should check out Air Vacation!
