4 Pics 1 Word by LOTUM GmbH is ranking as the second top free app in the app store! I hadn’t downloaded it before now, because I assumed it was just like What’s the Word by RedSpell. Just like I figured, it is almost exactly like What’s the Word! So much so, that I feel like I don’t even need to write a review on it. You could just read my What’s the Word review, and change the app’s title! They’re really that much alike! In both games, you’re shown four pictures that all have something in common. If you see the ocean, a watering can, showerhead and a stream, the word you’re looking for is water! In that case, you would see five empty blocks shown above a group of letters. You have to use your common sense, along with the allotted letters to come up with the word all the pictures have in common! If you think it’s a specific word, but you can’t make that word with the allotted letters, the word you were thinking is incorrect!
4 Pics 1 Word is a super fun game! It can get pretty challenging, and when it does, you can use cheats like showing a correct letter or deleting some letters that aren’t part of the solution. The cheats will cost you coins, and when you’re first starting out, you don’t have enough coins to use them! You can buy coins with in app purchases ranging from $0.99 all the way up to $19.99! However, if you’re witty enough, you won’t need them! I, however, am not that witty! I didn’t have enough coins for cheats, either, so I just took my sweet time thinking. The cheats on the right hand side of the screen flicker every single ten SECONDS, basically telling you to use them, even though you don’t have enough money to do so! That’s pretty annoying when you’re trying to think! Other than that, 4 Pics 1 Word is a blast! It’s challenging, making you think hard and clear! I love it!
