Ten One Design’s Pogo Art Contest is back for another year, so mobile sketchers, artists, and doodlers should start prepping those portfolios. This year’s contest winner gets cash and tech goodies valued at $1,000, including a Ten One Design product that hasn’t even been announced yet.

2014 Ten One Design Pogo Art Contest Announced

Categories & Rules

The contest features four categories, detailed below, and the artwork must be done on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch using a Pogo-branded stylus like the Pogo Connect or Sketch Plus. There will be a total of five winners: one Grand Prize winner who will receive cash and tech like a booq Boa backpack valued at $1,000, and four secondary winners (one per category) who will receive prizes of up to $250.

The categories for the competition include:

  • Current Events: Your artistic takes on world events, politics, or the general zeitgeist
  • Wildly Creative: Do something nobody’s expecting (artistic, not inquisition)
  • The Way You See It: Van Gogh it, your way
  • Obviously Abstract: Grounding in reality not necessary

Prizes for the winners include art tools and tech gear from the likes of Twelve South, Booq, eskuché, and Cocoon, which will definitely come in handy for any mobile artists.

Full details of the rules and requirements, along with a gallery of other entrants’ work, can be found at the Ten One website. Last year’s contest brought out some amazing artists in the same categories, using apps like ArtRage and tools like the Pogo Connect.

Unleash your creativity and see what you can create.
